چکیده مقاله
A quick look at the desert architecture of cities such as Yazd, Kashan, Kerman, etc., simple responses and ancient architecture with respect to the harsh weather conditions of this region has been lost. These symptoms can be seen sometimes in architectural structural elements like domes, porticos, wind catcher, etc., and sometimes type of masonry materials such as adobe and thatch, and in many cases the important use of natural elements such as water and trees. The composition of nature and materials with architectural elements such as porticos, dome etc provides the conditions that desert people without the need for energy can provide comfortable conditions in their living space. Today, with advances in technology and the availability of cheap energy, heating and cooling equipment is the replacement for creativity in architecture by using natural methods, while the world is heading rapidly toward energy crisis. In such circumstances, sustainable architecture along with energy efficiency and productivity of climatic potential loses the balance between man and environment. The only way to achieve a balance is to use natural forces, as environmental resources do not exists for human needs. In fact, the existing environmental conversion to application energy and employing it to create stability, prepare those machines which in indigenous architecture of different areas forms a repetitive element which indicates the identity of each region. The energy issue in desert architecture, natural resources and the utilization of the sun, the wind, etc., (sustainable sources of energy as opposed to fossil fuels, unstable) is of particular interest to the extent that is one of the distinguishing architectural features of this region. Perhaps taking the extravagance and vanity, the use of indigenous materials, selecting appropriate colors and shapes depending on the type and use of natural resources, selecting appropriate energy resources, and many other features can be seen as major factors of sustainable architecture.
Approaches to issues such as climate architecture, the use of passive heating and cooling systems in buildings and with an emphasis on local climatic hot and dry architectural experience, In addition to discussing the importance of housing and energy saving, ecological research on housing issues before the board. Therefore, the aim of this research is to provide a sustainable design of a house in the desert conditions so that the natural environmental forces can be converted into desired energy to the space.
